Bronconess Wine
As part of our Leadership and Business Strategy Program, you’ll have the opportunity to join the Bronconess team — a fully-operated student business where you help run a real wine brand from marketing and product strategy to distribution and scholarship impact. 100% of profits fund scholarships, while you gain hands-on skills in business leadership, decision making, and purpose-driven profit.
Born from a global partnership, Bronconess began when WMU professors Dr. Derrick McIver and Dr. Doug Lepisto challenged students to turn an idea into impact. What started as a study-abroad collaboration with Italian winemaker Silvio Tremonte evolved into a purpose-driven brand that proves great business can create shared benefit — for students, partners, and the community.

Join the Bronconess Team
With Bronconess wines now available in over 100 stores across Michigan — including Meijer, Costco, Trader Joe’s, and Harding’s — our student-led brand continues to look for talented individuals to join the team.
If you’re part of the Haworth College of Business, you can apply to join the Bronconess team through MGMT 2511, offered every fall and spring semester. This practicum elective gives students a hands-on opportunity to lead a real business while earning academic credit.
You’ll collaborate with peers, faculty mentors, and community partners to shape the direction of Bronconess.
